Lisa Bongean from Primitive Gatherings has created this book to go with her "American Gathering" fabric line, designed for Moda Fabrics. It is an energetic collection of small patriotic prints featuring stars, flags, shooting stars, stripes, and more. The prints are all done in red, indigo blue and cream, and are reminiscent of vintage inspired prints and shirtings from the past. Many of the projects in this book have a patriotic theme in keeping with the colors of the American Gatherings fabrics. Patterns in this book include 9 quilts (lap size an above), a quilted table runner, a round table topper made of hexagons, a patriotic penny rug, a pillow, and a pincushion.
