Over 5 days, Karen will share techniques which facilitate her transition toward abstract/improvisational work, and encourage students in realizing their own ideas. Topics and exercises include, but are not limited to Improvisational Machine Appliqué, Improvisational Piecing, Improvisational Foundation Piecing, Color & Fabric Selection, and Quilting Ideas & Finishing Techniques appropriate to contemporary work, all with a focus on fine workmanship.
Lunch is included in registration fee.
This class will be held at Five Pines Conference Center, Sisters, Oregon. It is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 4 pm, and Friday 9 am - 3 pm.
