Jennifer was inspired to make this quilt during a visit to the award winning Elephant Nature Park in Thailand with her sister, and she created this quilt to help raise awareness. Paper piecing is about the process of getting the technique down (which is a head scratcher at first- but Jennifer keeps it simple) and a great way to explore pattern and color. Thank-you to Lek Chailert, the founder for creating a sanctuary and rescue center for Thai elephants. The graphic elephant was inspired by a design by Alex Clark.
