We’re taking the traditional Pickle Dish pattern to new places!  This is a workshop style class designed for advanced beginners and beyond.  Skills include paper piecing and sewing curves.  Experience with basic paper piecing is helpful but absolutely not required.  The patterns for the class include several options and we will cover all of them.  We’ll start the class with a basic, simple Pickle Dish block and I’ll walk you through the basics of paper piecing.  We’ll continue on to variations including perfect points and flying geese. You can try all the variations or just stick with the ones you like. Then we will practice sewing those large and small curved seams to put together your blocks.  At the end of the class, we’ll experiment with placement of the blocks so you can see how the different sets and arrangements of the blocks can create the contemporary or traditional quilt that is perfect for you.
