Sara's contemporary quilt design uses white space (background) mingled among and around the colorful nested plus signs to give this traditional pattern a modern twist. The pattern calls for 9 prints plus a background. The baby quilt was designed for fat quarters, but the larger sizes need larger cuts (see pattern back for exact fabric requirements). The pattern can easily be adjusted for various sizes by changing the size of the patches.
