Marcia Derse creates hand-dyed and hand painted fabrics in her studio on beautiful Whidbey Island in Puget Sound, Washington. She is influenced by the color, images, and objects that surround her—anything that catches her eye, be it organic or man made. Windham takes her hand painted, dyed, and silkscreened fabrics and turns them into beautiful prints. Here There is Marcia’s first batik collection, from Windham’s sister company, Anthology Batiks. These colorful, fun fabrics would be wonderful in a quilt, for home dec projects, and they would add a bright and whimsical touch to any dress or wearable design.
