This is a four-session long series where students will dive into designing, carving, and printing blocks on fabric.

Students will learn the basics of drawing and carving, color mixing, and proper printing to create your own textiles and printed goodies. Students will begin the class with a theme in mind; it can be as broad as nature or specific like mushrooms. We will start with carving some motifs to start building a series of blocks.

The second month students will dive into repeated blocks. The third month will focus on exploring multi-colored block and printing in layers. The last session will be a sharing and critiquing of the work created over the three months.
