Where do you go when you are tired? …your favorite chair! Favorite chairs all over the world vary in shape and style, from curved to carved to contemporary. Whether they are upholstered armchairs, elegant uprights, or comfortable rockers, they give rest to our bodies and delight to our eyes.
In this class we explore the possibilities of this enormous variety of shapes, lines and colors, and use one or more favorites to make an individual quilt top, either as a representational image, as part of a pattern, or as an abstract.
You can piece, applique, fuse and/or stitch as you take a seat, sit back and relax looking with new eyes at what is so familiar to you.
This is a hybrid class via Zoom. The Zoom session will be conducted at Stitchin' Post so participants can join us in the classroom or the comfort of their own studio.
