Supply List: Fundamentals of Digital Design
Required: Laptop computer with PhotShop Elements software
Have you always wanted to create your own designs on fabric? In this class, you will use the photo-editing software Adobe Photoshop Elements (PSE) to enhance your creativity. Sharon has been exploring digital-design techniques for many years and has numerous tips and tricks to share.
Using PSE, the monthly 1-day workshop is designed to take you from the basics of editing and simple manipulation of photos to constructing complex images for your art, sewing, and quilting projects. During the month of January through April, you will get personal instruction and feedback on how to use the tools in Photoshop Elements to edit and manipulate your photos and scans; how to prepare your substrate for digital textile printing; and how to turn photos and scanned images from your journal or found materials into exciting digital designs. Yo will need to have a laptop computer, the previously mentioned software and access to an ink jet printer for this class.
