Let’s get in the mindset of make do but also let’s talk about value and contrast while making the Courthouse Steps quilt blocks. Sujata will share her tips on color, and how to create depth and highlight in a quilt. Student will choose to work with organic curves or straight line, both will be based on a ruler free technique. Working with solids is easier than working with prints. Let’s discuss the difference between the two concepts. Make a crisp quilt with solids, or make it look like a painting by using gentle curves and carefully selected prints. Sujata will guide you every step of the way.
