One of my favorite projects is to create a collage’ or pieced surface and then add color and meaning with a variety of stitches.  In this workshop we will begin by creating a surface with either of these techniques then go crazy with stitching. The piece will need to be around 12” x 12”, square or rectangle.  It will come alive as you work letting one moment influence the next one. You can use cottons, linens, dyed fabric, scraps leftovers from favorite palettes. Then comes even more fun with stitching.  Come ready to experiment and have some design fun.
