Supply List: My Kind of Neighborhood
Always looking for ways to use up those scaps...this will do it! You don’t need large pieces, just a good combination of scraps. Fat quarters work well, even a jelly roll will work but plan on some more scraps to go with the jelly roll. Just have lots of color, variety in prints, and mix solids and prints if you would like. This way you get a variety of houses, and trees — just like in a neighborhood.
We will be making parts of this quilt in class. There are 5 different house blocks and two different tree blocks that make the neighborhood. Combine the parts and make several of each and you will have a 54” x 64” quilt. Or make just a few for a wall hanging, table runner, or smaller quilt.
The background is also a combination of fabrics — all the same value and color, but have a variety in the prints of the fabrics. If you would rather, you can only use one background.
Price of class includes the pattern.
