Gather materials from nature and let them work with some fun fabrics to inspire your creativity in this mixed media workshop. Helen & I have been exploring fresh ideas and techniques that work with textiles.  We will spend a few hours along the Metolius River exploring and then return to the classroom to dive into projects. We are gathering a variety of supplies for us to experiment with. A lot of the ideas will be collage like.

On the first day bring a sack lunch and we will have bottled water and iced tea.  Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat and cloth bag for gathering materials along the river. We will car pool to Jean's family cabin and gather materials from there.
