Inspired by beaded necklaces made from recycled magazine papers by African women, this quilt is a fun version of a string quilt. Celebrate imperfections and irregularities of handmade crafts through improvisational blocks as well as the borders. This workshop will focus on design elements like color, texture ad value in prints and on choosing the perfect background for a string quilt.
