Policies and Procedures


CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND RETREATS

When you register as a student at Stitchin’ Post, you’ll receive an email full of great information including any advance preparation needed to make your session the most enjoyable. Although most fees are inclusive - and some even include lunch! - there occasionally will be an additional kit, or lab fee for special supplies. 


REGISTRATION

Payment is due at time of registration. Enrollment in most multi-day workshops can be held with a 50% deposit, balance due 45 days prior to the first session.

Lodging is not included in pricing. A list of area accommodations is available upon request.


SUPPLY LIST

Class supply lists are available here or follow the link in the footer of every stitchinpost.com web page. Students can pick up a supply list at the store and will also receive an email with their supply list and any other class information once class is confirmed. 


CANCELLATION

Most single-day classes have a 10 day grace period for cancellations and most multi-day classes have a 45 day grace period for cancellations with a $25 non-refundable deposit. You’ll find the pertinent policy with class descriptions at the bottom of your supply list. 

If you cancel outside of the stated grace period, no refund will be given. However, you are welcome to give or sell your spot to another person.

On occasion, Stitchin’ Post will cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. We make that decision ten or forty-five days before the scheduled class. You’re always welcome to call within that time to confirm that the class has met its minimum enrollment and will go on as scheduled before purchasing supplies. If Stitchin’ Post cancels a class, you may take a store credit or request a refund.  


STUDENT DISCOUNT

Students enrolled in a Stitchin’ Post class are eligible to receive a 15% discount on class supply list items, in shop only, for the ten days before the start of class. On the day of class, students are eligible for 15% off all purchases, with some exclusions. You must provide a copy of your supply list or your class name tag to receive either discount. 


WINTER WEATHER ALERT

Weather can be unpredictable here in Central Oregon. When winter weather affects driving conditions, our priority is safety. Please note that if the Sisters School District is closed due to weather conditions, we will also cancel class that day. We will reschedule the class for another day, based on classroom and instructor availability.


HEALTHY CLASSROOM

If you have a cold, flu symptoms, a lingering cough, or other symptoms of contagious illness, please stay home and take care of yourself. Call prior to class to let us know you are not feeling well and we will do what we can to accommodate your illness.


CLASSROOM CONSIDERATION

Please silence all cell phones and avoid wearing perfumes, scented lotions, and other such products to class.
