Using leftover scraps, you can make a forest of adorable stuffed Christmas trees --- perfect for a mantel, centerpiece, or a holiday scene. I was captivated by these on the cover of Modern Patchwork gifts. It turns out the designed used Valori's Stitch and Flip method to piece the strata. My neighbor, Jim, has cut wood rounds and drilled holes in them for the dowels. (Wood rounds, dowels, and glue are included and will be supplied by the instructor.)
