Our charming village quilt is built with a collection of fabrics from the 365 Fifth Avenue and Bloomsbury lines by Bari J. for Art Gallery Fabrics. The character and appeal of this quilt comes from the variety. Every house has its own mix of patterns and features - just like a real village. Each house block finishes at 5" x 6 1/2". There are eleven rows of twelve randomly spaced houses in the pattern version (8 rows of 7 in our version), and some of the houses have chimneys. The name comes from the term, "it takes a village," because it took the combined talents of many people to make this all work - the fabric designers whose fabric collections are used, plus miss Rosie, her staff and the quilter.
