Realign, redirect and reconsider stitching as an element of design with fearless free-motion quilting. 

This class will approach stitching as meditation, communication, introspection and play.  Simple exercises will broaden the scope of how stitching can enhance and refine the cloth surface.

Translating line to thread, we will develop techniques to accept the imperfect, accelerate ideas and stitch from the imagination.  Simple exercises will provide new tools for seeing, interpreting and completing concept-driven work.  Let's explore the 2D and 3D dimensions of stitch.  

Open to all skill levels, free-motion quilting experience a plus.

Lunch is included in registration fee.

This class will be held at Five Pines Conference Center, Sisters, Oregon.  It is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 9 am - 4 pm, and Friday 9 am - 3 pm.
