About Stitchin' Post

Jean Wells Valori Wells Stitchin' Post

Jean Wells opened Stitchin’ Post in Sisters Oregon on May 23, 1975 and we are still family owned and operated. Jean's has her hand in many of our projects, classes, and plans for the future, but now her daughter Valori Wells is at the helm and incorporating her own style and creativity in all we do. Both women are artists in their own right and share a love of quilting, design, and building community.

We were one of the first quilt shops opened in America, and are still celebrating, supporting, and encouraging creativity in the fiber arts and quilting communities locally and across world.

Education, inspiration, and creativity is our motto and the foundation of the business. World class teachers hold classes and lectures, both in-person and online, with us throughout the year. While events like Quilter's Affair, Art Quilt Symposium, and of course the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show bring quilters from around the world to our vibrant community.

Our goal is to always deliver exceptional quality - quality products, instruction, and service. This community and our exceptional customers deserve nothing less.
