Sisters Sip n’ Shop
Tuesday (July 8th) Starting at 4:00pm.
Many businesses in town will be participating in the second annual Sip n’ Shop. Stroll through town and you’ll find tasty treats and drinks at participating shops. Also, wear your Quilter’s Affair name tag for discounts and deals. Below are special deals to be aware of during the Sip n’ Shop:

The Cafe is open in the commons for breakfast and lunch all week. Order your meal before class and it will be waiting for you at lunch. The Marguerite Cafe is hosted by Sisters PEO, a philanthropic education organization interested in bringing opportunities for higher education to women. Proceeds from past cafes provided scholarships to women, including many local high school graduates.

July 10th (Thursday):
Introduction to Fly Fishing
A Full Day (8 AM to 1PM) of instruction in the art of fly fishing designed for individuals, couples, families, and groups of friends. Taught by a professional fly-fishing instructor, this is a fun, hands-on introduction to the art of fly fishing.
Content includes an overview of fly fishing, collecting and observing a sample of the food in a trout's diet, examining the artificial "flies"anglers use to catch trout, and a lesson in how to cast a fly rod. Location Sisters, Oregon.
Meet at the Fly Fisher’s Place 151 West Main Ave Sisters, OR 97759. Fee is $150 per person - minimum 4/maximum 6 students. No experience necessary. All equipment provided. No special clothes or gear necessary. Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and your own lunch.

July 11th (Friday):
Guided Fishing
Take your new fly fishing knowledge and skills to the river in this half day of Guided Fly Fishing on the Crooked River. Minimum 2 people/Maximum 6 people, 8 AM to 2 PM. Location Crooked River near Prineville, OR.
Meet at The Fly Fisher’s Place in Sisters to rendezvous with potential for carpooling to the destination which is an hour and 10 minute drive. Fee is $250 per person which includes rods, flies, waders, boots and other tackle for the experience. No experience necessary. All equipment provided. No special clothes or gear necessary. Bring sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen and wear socks for under the waders and boots that will be provided. Bring your own lunch or order a lunch through the Fly Fisher’s Place for $18.
