Fly Fishing Excursions offered by The Fly Fisher's Place

Introduction to Fly Fishing - July 10th, 2025 (8AM - 1PM)

Instruction in the art of fly fishing designed for individuals, couples, families, and groups of friends. Taught by a professional fly-fishing instructor in Sisters, this is a fun, hands-on introduction to the art of fly fishing. 

Includes an overview of fly fishing, collecting and observing a sample of the food in a trout's diet, examining the artificial "flies" anglers use to catch trout, and a lesson in how to cast a fly rod.  

Fee is $150 per person, 4-6 participants. No experience necessary.

Guided Fishing - July 11th, 2025 (8AM - 2PM)

Travel to Crooked River to try your new fly fishing knowledge and skills with a guide. 

Crooked River is approximately an hour and ten minutes drive from Sisters. You may arrange carpooling with other participants during the initial meetup at The Fly Fisher's Place.

Fee is $250 per person which includes rods, flies, waders, boots and other tackle for the experience.  2 - 6 people. No experience necessary.

Meet at The Fly Fisher’s Place 151 West Main Ave Sisters, OR 97759. All equipment provided. No special clothes or gear necessary. Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and your own lunch or order a lunch through the Fly Fisher’s Place for $18.
