Garden Quilt Kit

This fairly simple, modern quilt is made entirely of borders and sashing - no blocks! Colorful rectangles of fabric are mixed together in rows of "piano keys," then these are sewn together and separated by narrow, bright sashing. This pattern doesn't designate specific placement of the fabrics (except the sashing), so use your creativity and mix them up as randomly as you can. The dark colors and bold prints lend a fun and sophisticated feeling to this scrappy lap quilt.

Kit includes the pattern and everything you need to make the quilt top, including binding. 

To complete this quilt, you will need:
5 1/4 yards backing
78" x 94" batting
