This is the kind of luxurious throw that beckons you to the sofa. The Churchmouse pattern calls for lots of garter stitch so it's a fine choice for beginners and a soothing activity for seasoned knitters.

We chose to knit this with a plain edge to showcase the warmth and lightness of Rowan’s Brushed Fleece but you can always add the bobbly picot edge shown on the pattern. Quick to knit in Brushed Fleece—just use a single strand—this throw is fluffy and insulating, but not overly warm or heavy. The lightly marled colors remind us of English moors and woodlands.
