Soft Rock Field of Dreams
Soft Rock is a light fingering-weight 2 ply yarn made from the same fiber base that Blue Moon uses for their beloved Socks that Rock yarns! Their goal was a yarn that had a lot of the wonderful attributes of their signature sock yarn, but with a little less of a twist and a little more drape.
Since Blue Moon's goal with Soft Rock is not a sock yarn, they were able to lighten up on the twist of the ply which gives a more relaxed yarn for shawls and cowls and such. Soft Rock still has a nice elasticity and also rocks, just not for socks!
