Starlight in Sisters was conceived and designed for the 2014 Sisters Quilt Show fundraiser by Jean Wells. Jean drew her inspiration for the quilt from the national exhibit, "Quilted in Honor," led by Island Batiks, which was a fundraising initiative for Operation Homefront, one of the top military fundraising organizations.
