Turbine uses Jen's 6 1/2" template (or you can create your own from the included pattern and template plastic). Cutting up a quilt block that you’ve just made can be scary! Jen had a stack of old blocks that she just couldn’t throw away, so she started cutting them up. What she found was after the first five, it wasn’t a big deal! The Turbine quilt is a wonderful scrap buster. The scrappy pie pieces mingle with pops of solid turbine blades that dramatically criss cross each block. With three different fabric options, you can create a super scrappy version with 120 different fabrics, a moderately scrappy version with 30 different prints, or a clean and simple version with 20 different fabrics.
