501 Transform your Stash with Dyeing with Lynn Koolish on 7/12/2024

Skill Level:  All – No prior dyeing experience needed
Class Project:  Create multiple dyed fabrics to increase your stash for future projects.

Does your stash include fabrics that you just don’t like any more or don’t think you will ever use? Are you desperately short of certain colors or values?
 
In this class you can over-dye light- to medium-colored fabrics that you already have to:

• Add a subtle texture
• Change the overall color tone while keeping the pattern
• Overdye with a dark color to completely change the look 

You can also dye new white fabric to fill gaps in your stash. You’ll come away with a better understanding of color and a stack of your own hand-dyed fabrics you can use for any of your quilt-making projects. Beginner friendly / No experience needed. If you have dyed fabric before, this class will expand your knowledge of working with Procion dyes.
