This is Sew Kind of Wonderful's 3rd version of the iconic double wedding ring quilt pattern. Included are suggestions for creating a color-wash effect with the pieced rings in the pattern instructions.

Materials:

(25) 5" x wof strips assorted focus fabrics for rings

(5 sets of assorted colors- 5 assorted focus fabrics in each set. We used green, blue, brown, plum, and coral.)

(12) 1/3 yard cuts assorted neutral backgrounds

OR (3-1/2 yards background fabric) 

5 yards for backing

1/2 yard binding
