Star Crossed Footstool Pattern

Sheila Snyder - Star Crossed (Star Point) Footstool Pattern
Finished footstool size: 18" diameter
     (Height varies depending on the feet used on the bottom.)

This is the newest version of Sheila's Tufted Footstool patterns. It is similar to the Color Wheel Footstool, but the fabric arrangement and piecing is different.

Note: Instructions assume that you have purchased the Footstool Kit as well, which includes the base and foam.

Materials Needed:
1 1/4 yard muslin
8 pieces of decorative fabric, appx 9" x 14" for the sides
1 jelly roll to coordinate with your decorative fabric (must have a minimum of 10 - 2 1/2" x 42" strips)
1/2 yard pattern paper (optional)
1 or more large decorative buttons for the top of the footstool - minimum 2" diameter
1 flat button for the bottom - minimum 1/2" diameter
1 twin size hi-loft batting, or scraps cut to fit
18" square of craft felt for the bottom of the stool
