Explore the magical combination of color and value with freeform blocks. Bold color choices mixed with wide range of tonal value and contrast can make a quilt sing. Developing exciting color schemes doesn’t have to be limited to color wheel. Discover how to intuitively develop an eye for color and textures.

Participants are encouraged to bring pictures of interesting textures and color combinations. Just look around your surroundings. These can be found on walks, cityscape, old architecture, fruit and vegetable bowls on the kitchen counters, a visit to the city or the countryside, an old barn, etc.
