Skill Level:  All – No prior dyeing experience needed
Class Project:  Create multiple dyed fabrics to increase your stash for future projects.

Required:  $40 supply fee paid to instructor in class(cash or check) covers 2 days of shared dyes, and other supplies—be sure to download the student supply list to see what else you need to bring.

Dyeing your own fabrics offers endless opportunities for working with color—both creating your own signature color combinations and filling your stash with fabulous color and texture. Working with Procion dyes in this class, you’ll learn:

• How Procion dyes work
• How to mix your own custom colors
• How colors blend and relate
• How to create visual texture on fabric
• How to develop personal palettes of colors for your fiber work. 

With 2 days in class, you can create fabrics to fill your stash as well as make fabric for any project you currently have in mind. You can also dye clothing and household items such as tablecloths, napkins, and curtains.
