Marcia Derse's Stenographer's Notebook batik collection emerged from two artist books she has been gradually developing over the years. She is always on the hunt for paper, especially old paper with handwriting and over the years she overlaid paintings and sketches onto the pages, not knowing where it would lead. With the opportunity to create her second batik collection, she revisited the notebook, pulling inspiration from the pages. The aged papers in the book were so beautiful, and became an important element in the overall design. This collection became a great spot to sneak in her favorite designs.

Kit includes the pattern and everything you need to make the quilt top, including binding.
