18" wide Reynolds Kitchens Freezer Paper - Freezer paper has a waxy plastic coating on one side that will stick to fabric when ironed, but peels off easily when cool.
For quilting, trace a reversed image of the appliqué pattern onto dull side of paper, cut it out, then iron the shiny side onto the wrong side of the fabric. Cut fabric out 1/4" beyond the edge of the paper for seam allowance. Fold the seam allowances under, using the freezer paper as a guide, then stitch the appliqué onto the background. Remove the freezer paper through a small slit in the back or along an unstitched area of the appliqué.
Freezer Paper is cut to order in 1 yard increments.
