Amongst the early morning dew and the rays of sunshine, hummingbirds gather at the feeder for some morning chatter. The classic New York Beauty block variations radiate that feeling in this quilt. Morning Chatter was designed for the "Murmur" fabric line created by Valori Wells for FreeSpirit Fabrics. For the A (background) templates, a dark value was used. Two different light values were used for the remaining blocks. A variety of fabrics were used for the pieced arcs. A schematic of the entire quilt has been provided for planning purposes.

Materials Needed:
Backgrounds (A):
1 yard each of 3 different large scale prints

Pieced Arcs & Centers (B & C):
2/3 yard medium scale print
1/2 yard each of 2 different medium scale prints
3/8 yard medium scale print

Pieced Arcs (B):
5/8 yard each of 2 different medium-small scale prints
1/2 yard each of 2 different medium-small scale prints
3/8 yard each of 2 different medium-small scale prints
1/3 yard each of 5 different medium-small scale prints
1/4 yard each of 6 different medium-small scale prints

You will also need:
5/8 yards for binding
5 1/4 yards for backing
68” x 92” batting
Heavy paper or template plastic
