Description:
Dive into curved piecing with the unique, fun & versatile Currents quilt. And don’t be intimidated – these large curves are quite forgiving and great for curve first-timers! The Currents design abstractly represents the concept of wu wei - a central principle in Chinese and especially Daoist philosophy. The term literally translates to “non-doing.” While a common misconception, it is not about inaction; rather, it suggests we not resist forces outside of our control, and instead mindfully - and less effortlessly - respond by harnessing these winds to advance our proverbial boat. In this class, Brooke will walk you through each step of sewing your curved pieces, accurately trimming blocks, and pressing for nested seams to create a polished final quilt.
Cancellation Policy:
Stitchin' Post and Quilter's Affair class registration is limited to one seat per customer per class. You can register for more than one class at a time.
Making any changes to a Stitchin' Post or Quilter's Affair class at any time after registration will incur a 10% change fee. For Quilter's Affair classes, cancellations must be made by May 31st each year for a 90% refund*. Cancellation after May 31st forfeits all registration monies paid.
*Your receipt will show a full refund minus a 10% “restocking fee”.
On occasion, Stitchin' Post will cancel a class due to lack of registration. If Stitchin' Post cancels this class, you may take a store credit, transfer to another class, or request a full refund.
