Janet Wecker Frisch's "Press On" line was  in part was inspired during a trip to Hamilton Missouri and a visit with Jenny Doan. She was invited to see Jenny's private studio space in the restored 1920 Public Library. Just inside the foyer, shelves of antique irons flank the front entrance, which house Jenny’s extensive collection. Janet was captivated at first sight. Janet’s childhood fascination with characters inspires a story-telling quality and a depth of detail, offering the viewer a journey of continued discovery. Janet’s engaging body of work includes three identifiable elements – visual humor, heartfelt messaging and relatable images.
