Join Val & Kelly for a fun two-day experience, exploring and learning about Indigo dyeing. This is a hands-on class that gets you experimenting and learning from others’ experiments.

Indigo is a rich blue color that is extracted from plants and used in the dyeing process. The instructors have experimented with a variety of folding, stitching, and clamping techniques that can be used in the dyeing process. They will share what they have learned while experimenting themselves with the dye and the dyeing process in this two-day exploration of technique and design.

We will spend some time inside but mostly be outside in the fresh air so our fabrics can dry and be displayed for all of us to learn.

Making any changes to a Stitchin' Post or Quilter's Affair class at any time after registration will incur a 10% change fee. For Stitchin’ Post classes listed as $299 or less, cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the first day of class for a 90% refund*. Cancellation less than 14 days before the first day of class forfeits all registration monies paid. Your receipt will indicate it as a restocking fee.
