Ukigami Grid Memo Pad Blue

This little memo pad is made from ukigami, a type of Echizen washi paper produced with unique methods. Inside you will find high-quality grid paper (2.5mm). Perfect for needlework designs, quilt designs, charts and more.

The note pad opens flat to 180° and because the center of the book doesn't rise up when open, it feels like writing on a flat sheet of paper. This "flat opening" book binding is an original patented technology of Nakamura Printing Company, founded in Asakusa in 1938.

The 2.5mm grid paper makes even small writing easy to read, and with 4 squares equaling 1cm, it is easy to make calculated designs.  The light gray lines and off-white paper are easy on the eyes.
