Class Description:
Japanese Sashiko stitching is an ancient, easy-to-learn stitching practice that can be used to adorn your work. Included is a brief history of sashiko and the values it represents. You will stitch immediately on the pre-printed tote bag. You’ll then learn to transfer a classic sashiko pattern to your fabric and learn several stitching techniques which are unique to this art form.
Cancellation Policy:
Stitchin' Post and Quilter's Affair class registration is limited to one seat per customer per class. You can register for more than one class at a time.
Making any changes to a Stitchin' Post or Quilter's Affair class at any time after registration will incur a 10% change fee. For Quilter's Affair classes, cancellations must be made by May 31st each year for a 90% refund*. Cancellation after May 31st forfeits all registration monies paid.
*Your receipt will show a full refund minus a 10% “restocking fee”.
On occasion, Stitchin' Post will cancel a class due to lack of registration. If Stitchin' Post cancels this class, you may take a store credit, transfer to another class, or request a full refund.
