Class Description:
Tumbling, tipping, toppling and teetering shapes are the focus of this workshop. Explore movement, rhythm and asymmetry in fabric collage. By using simple design principles as a guide, we can distribute the visual weight of objects to feel balanced and stable- or not! We will embrace movement and rhythm in a playful way. Then you will choose your Cornucopia of Good Things. By sharing a few easy techniques on fast and fun ways to create your shapes, you will quickly be on your way to stacking colorful elements to the sky- or tumbling them to the floor!
