Having embroidered with the very simplest of stitches when I was a little girl with my grandmother gave me a love stitching. In this series each month there will be a presentation of some kind to keep you stitching. My inspiration for this project was from Shelley Rhodes book Fragmentation and Repair from Batsford. We will discuss design techniques, provide stitch demonstrations and tips along with guest stitchers and project ideas.

Explore decorative imagery using simple stitches in a journal, on a roll, or rectangular format. In 2022 I began a practice of daily stitching that led into a year of stitching tiny fragments of cloth to a 5” wide piece of white flannel as a foundation. (I certainly missed  a few days of stitching when life got into the way) but by the end of the year I had 120”.

Making any changes to a Stitchin' Post or Quilter's Affair class at any time after registration will incur a 10% change fee. For Stitchin’ Post classes listed as $299 or less, cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the first day of class for a 90% refund*. Cancellation less than 14 days before the first day of class forfeits all registration monies paid. Your receipt will indicate it as a restocking fee.
