Class Description:
Wouldn't it be great if you could flip a switch in your brain and turn your creativity "on" whenever you need or want to? Especially when you're feeling stuck, unsure, or disconnected from your spark.
While a switch like that may not actually exist in our brains, Kelly Sheets knows that the key to sparking creativity does come from deep within us.
Kelly is known for igniting other’s creative thinking and helping them experience their whole life as creative. She hosts sold out Creatives Retreats to Bali and Morocco with Valori Wells several times per year. This Quilter’s Affair workshop is a taste of what happens there!
In this workshop, Kelly will give you specific actions to take when you are feeling stuck, uncertain, in self-judgement or simply want to think differently about something. As humans, we limit ourselves creatively out of habit. But life gets way more fun when we begin to notice our limits and make new choices. Creativity is what makes life incredibly interesting, whether you are making something material or being creative in your behavior, relationships or lifestyle. Developing the habit of stoking our creativity on demand opens the door to limitless potential, joy, and fun.
The intent of our time together will be to give you actionable practices to continually live a creative life. We will make, think, move, and explore how you can have a more fulfilling relationship with the creative process at all times. Since we will be moving and making, wear comfortable clothes. And since we’ll be exploring the connection between creativity and our inner world, don’t forget to bring an open mind :)
A mix of lecture and activity - movement, making and self-awareness wrapped into one. Experimenting and investigation are at the root of this workshop so you can leave with tools to help yourself spark and stoke creativity anytime you need it, whether in your studio or in your personal life.

Cancellation Policy:
Stitchin' Post and Quilter's Affair class registration is limited to one seat per customer per class. You can register for more than one class at a time.
Making any changes to a Stitchin' Post or Quilter's Affair class at any time after registration will incur a 10% change fee. For Quilter's Affair classes, cancellations must be made by May 31st each year for a 90% refund*. Cancellation after May 31st forfeits all registration monies paid.
*Your receipt will show a full refund minus a 10% “restocking fee”.
On occasion, Stitchin' Post will cancel a class due to lack of registration. If Stitchin' Post cancels this class, you may take a store credit, transfer to another class, or request a full refund.
