The Gypsy Shawl can be made out of rayon, voile, or cotton. The rayon and voile are softer, and both drape beautifully. Version I (shown in the cover photo) is made with rayon. The ends can be left clean or finished with a variety of trims: vintage, knitted, or crocheted lace; or ribbons inserted into the seam. You could also add purchased bead or fringe trim to each end of the shawl. (Knit trim instructions on back.)
