We've taken one of our favorite patterns, Cranberry Chutney by Kenna Ogg, and paired it with some wonderful fabrics from Banyan Batiks. The straight lines in the pattern create a good counterpoint to the curved shapes of the circles, waves, and bubbles in the fabric. The colors are dark and rich, giving a warm, earthy feel to this lap sized quilt. The pattern is fairly straightforward, and there are no bias edges, making this quilt suitable for confident beginners and experienced quilters alike.
