Discover the timeless appeal of the traditional hexagon quilt pattern with this machine-piecing friendly design that eliminates tricky Y seams. Using a 60-degree ruler, you'll create beautiful strip pieced hexagons with ease. The Farmer's Daughter fabric collection brings vintage charm through soft florals, delicate prints, and a soothing palette of dusty rose, denim blue, and creamy neutrals—perfect for creating heirloom-quality quilts. This precut roll includes 39 - 11" wide fabric strips and the complete pattern, giving you everything needed for an 87" x 90" quilt top. Ideal for confident beginners ready to master traditional techniques with a modern twist. Additionally, you can choose to leave the hexagons pointing out on the sides, or trim them straight once the top is finished to make binding easier, which is what Jackie did on our sample. (This does make the quilt slightly narrower.)
Kit includes the pattern and everything you need to make the quilt top, except for the binding.
To complete this quilt, you will need:
3/4 yards binding
2 3/4 yards 108" backing (8 1/4 yards if using 44" wide fabric)
95” x 98” quilt batting
