Metolius Fish Quilt Kit

As a child, Jean vividly remembers the trout in the Metolius River in front of her grandmother's cabin. This quilt pays homage to those fish and Jean's memories. The background is pieced using Jean's No Ruler Cutting and Piecing technique. The fish are then appliquéd onto the background. Jean often uses needle-turn appliqué for her fish, but you can also fuse your fish to the background if you prefer.

Kit includes the pattern and everything you need to make the quilt top (the one with 7 fish), including binding.  *Note: Fabrics in the kit will be similar, but not the same as those in the sample photos.*

To complete this quilt, you will need:
2 1/2 yards backing
44" x 74" batting
