Sawtooth style stars offer a variety of design possibilities in quilt making. Strippy Stars is made up of three rows of the rising star block, for a total of 15 stars, with sashing strips sewn between each of the stars. Two rows of twelve squares each, on point, are added to create this strippy set. Finished size of the star block is 12”.
Materials Needed:
1/4 yard of seven different fabrics for the 15 stars and the 24 squares
7 yards for background, border, and binding
5 1/2 yards for backing
86” x 98” quilt batting
