This throw was created to showcase large scale prints. Wide strips of fabric are added around a central rectangle, in a similar fashion to a log cabin or courthouse steps quilt block. The Theme fabric portion  - the center and two of the outer strips - works well with directional fabric. The rest of the fabrics Valori has chosen are brighter and smaller scale prints, adding cheery pops of color to the overall look of the throw.

Kit includes the pattern and everything you need to make the quilt top, including binding. 

To complete this quilt, you will need:
3 1/4 yards backing
58” x 72” quilt batting

About the fabric: The Wisdom fabric collection emerged from months spent in the solitude of my studio, painting larger-than-life crows. Those were nights illuminated by moonlight, filled with music, movement, tears, and brushstrokes—a journey of raw creativity and self-discovery, free from the weight of outside opinions. In the stillness, away from the world’s noise, I found a sacred space for inner peace and reflection. Through moments of grief and sadness, softened by the rhythm of the paint. Yet within this experience, there was also hope and joy—a quiet light that grew stronger with every stroke. It was in this process that I found a renewed love for myself and a deep sense of belonging within my own being, making this collection a testament to the beauty of solitude and the resilience of the human spirit.  ~Valori
