Pine trees, surrounded by double four-patch blocks and large squares with a theme print fabric, are set on the diagonal in this quilt. Add a pieced border with squares set on point and you have a very striking quilt to use as a wall hanging, lap size quilt, or add another border or two and have a large quilt suitable for a bed.

Materials:
1/4 yard of six different greens for the trees
1/4 yard for tree trunks
2 yards for tree block background and outer border
1/2 yard for large theme print squares
1/4 yard for the small four-patches
1 yard for large squares in the double four-patch block and border squares
7/8 yard for setting triangles
4 1/8 yards for backing
1/2 yard for binding
64” x 72” quilt batting
