What table doesn’t look festive with a colorful runner? The Boho runner is created using the spirited colors in the Kismet line of fabrics by Valori Wells. Multiple colorful prints have joined together with classic linen textural solids, decorative running stitches, and hand-crafted ball trim to create the Boho look. (This runner does not have quilt batting, but you could add a very thin batting or flannel inside if you like.)

Materials:
This runner uses two feature fabrics for the diamond appliques, but you could use just one if you like.

1/3 yd each of two feature fabrics for diamonds (or just 1/3 yd of one fabric if you prefer).
Note: We lined the diamonds with muslin, and then blind stitch appliquéd them to the runner.
You will need 1/3 yard muslin or another fabric if you use this technique.
Otherwise, you can use another hand appliqué technique.)

5” or 1/4 yard each of four different fabrics for interior panel strips
1/8 yard each of six different fabrics for interior panel strips
1/2 yard for first border
1/4 yard each of two different fabrics for second border

You will also need:
1 2/3 yard backing
scraps for ball trim (should be enough left overs - or you could purchase ball fringe)
scraps of poly-fill stuffing for pom poms
Optional: 1 1/4 yard thin batting or flannel
Six strand embroidery floss or Sashiko thread (we used five different colors or you can use just one if you like)
Medium size hand embroidery needle
